BOARDING

Exercise and Fitness – Stand Up Paddle Boarding is a great exercise. It strengthens the core abdominal muscles as well as arms, legs and all the muscles of the back.

The event will have 15 attendees for each session. We will begin with a short paddle board lesson to ensure a safe/fun paddle board experience and 40 minutes on the water. Also, there will be beach activities!

All proceeds will be in support of ALOHA TORONTO. The charity dedicated to support and enrich the lives of people living with autism. It is inspired by Izzy and Danielle Paskowitz and their foundation Surfers Healing, a non-profit organization that teaches children with autism to surf.

*** All the participants MUST be comfortable with water for your own safety.***

***The Lesson, paddleboard, life jacket rental price and small snacks are included in the ticket price. Everything we raise on this event will be donated to the ALOHA TORONTO. ***

To donate, please click on the green "Tickets" tab above, and a donate option will be provided.

In association with Aloha Toronto, this event is in support of Autism Ontario, a charity dedicated to providing a voice to the autism community in Ontario. They strive to ensure that each individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is provided the means to achieve quality of life as a respected member of society. Through their six key areas of focus (advocacy and support, research, best practices, government relations, public awareness, and governance), Autism Ontario works tirelessly to create an environment where there is acceptance and opportunities for all individuals with ASD.

This is event will be located directly on the beach in a neighbourhood called “The Beaches”. The Beaches is located east of Toronto with Queen Street & Woodbine Avenue being the major intersection.

From Queen Street, walk south until you hit the water, and walk east along the boardwalk until you reach the Balmy Beach Tennis Courts. WSUP Toronto is located just east of the tennis courts.
